Throughout April and May, as part of the National Year of Reading, Solihull Libraries asked budding poets and lyricists to come up with the words to a song about what their home

Aaron Yorke has been working as a freelance
musician/music producer for the past 6 years. Although now a qualified
Special Needs Teacher,
Aaron runs workshops and training sessions around Birmingham and the
West Midlands area. The workshop sessions
specialise in 1) Song writing - lyric writing, song structure, different genres,
rhyming techniques
2) Recording - general recording techniques, live recordings, studio
recordings (mobile studio)
3) Producing CDs - CD in a day, CD extended projects
4) Music technology - Recording, mixing, and mastering in digital
format. The Training sessions focus on music and working with 1)
children and young people with learning/behaviour
difficulties, 2) Autism Spectrum Disorders 3) Early years music
