Birmingham Youth Music
'Soundfutures Action zone'
2003 - ongoing

Aaron – wow! What a true and consummate professional. He has a reasonably disengaged and potentially troublesome group of students there but I’m very, very impressed by the way he deals with them. He doesn’t let anything get to him and deals with any problems with humor and tact. In the space of an hour, they’d written and recorded their first song together and they’d surprised themselves by being able to sing – reasonably tunefully too! It’s a very long time since I’ve seen work of this quality – anywhere, not just at sound futures – and it was a real pleasure to be part of it...

Aaron’s wasted in the teaching profession, he should be earning his living as a teacher trainer!

LEAPS and BOUNDS project
March - April 2008

Hi Aaron,

A rather belated thank you very much indeed for your support last weekend - great job!  As i said on the night, without your input a crucial aspect of our Project would be missing and that is the capturing of the internal creative vitality of each young person.  It is clear that this can only be achieved with the right level of professional intervention, driven by the values, integrity, ethics and experiences which are the special gifts which you possess and that shone out from your material i encountered on your website and of course through the practical work you conducted with our Young people.

You have impacted and touched many lives.
I would really like to continue to work with you and will find a way do continue to do so...so be warned!
